I am taking Katie to her kindergarten orientation next week. I am of mixed emotions. I am happy for her because she is so excited and can't wait to make a "best girl friend". She even has a plan to get one. She is going to go up to a girl and ask her if nobody asks her first. She told me she would pick a girl she "thinks looks nice". But at the same time where is my little baby girl. How did she grow up so fast? Now that we have made a final decision on more kids I notice more how quickly they are getting big. I will have no baby left soon. I know there are many happy times coming, i enjoy doing girly things with Katie more every day but it breaks my heart that there will be no more babies.

What a crazy and fun weekend! This weekend was so busy and such a good time for so many reasons. It was the annual Rebecca Meier Fund golf tournament that I volunteer at every year. I take the photos of the foursomes, take them to my work and print them, put them in folders that I emboss with the charities name and then bring them back to the site to hand out before the golfers are done their round. This was my third year and it is a blast. The people that run the tourny are a riot and we provide some much needed help to families with kids battling cancer. It doesn't get much better than that!!!
Then Sunday was Katie's dance picture day (what a zoo!) in the morning closely followed by her birthday party. It was a bit of a race to get there on time as pictures ran a little long but we made it and the kids had a rockin' time. I highly recommend a destination birthday party. We had hers at a local bowling alley and there is nothing better than getting there, welcoming your guests, having fun and then walking away with no clean up!!!
